Thornback skate anatomy
Museum of Life Sciences, London
Diagrams showing the anatomy of the thornback skate (Raja clavata) and detailing the anatomy of the brain and cranial nerves. These help students and visitors to better understand specimens and bones on display.
The illustrations were drawn with ink and coloured markers, and were created with the scientific knowledge and advice of Gillian Sales, the museum’s curator.
