“Edible mushrooms” Print

An A5 print created for a personal project aiming to discover different edible mushroom species and to study them through drawing. The print includes the king oyster or king trumpet mushroom, the queen bolete, a beefsteak fungus, a pearl oyster mushroom, an orange peel mushroom, an enoki and a giant puffball mushroom.
The designs on the ornamental borders allude to the various species: some oyster mushrooms, a cut half of a bolete, the leaves of oak and beech trees on which some of these species grow, as well as a side-view of the beefsteak fungus and the flowers of sea holly on which the wild king oyster grows.
The mushrooms are not drawn to scale and the print is intended as a decorative object and cannot be used for identification for mushroom picking!
The print comes in two versions: a monochrome orange option and a two-tone orange and green option, with the names of the mushrooms included in both English and French.
